1 SELECT MOUNTING LOCATION
Select a location to install the TBOLT MULTI-SERVO HARNESS MOUNTS. Make sure to select a location that will allow the mating TBOLT MULTI-SERVO HARNESS connector to be free of any binding or airframe mating components. These mounts can be installed on wood, or composite material. Mounts include a backplate/Installation Template that can be used to reinforce the mounting location.
2 LAYOUT INSTALLATION
Use the Backplate/Installation Template to layout the hole that you will need to cut to fit the TBOLT MULTI-SERVO HARNESS MOUNT.
3 CUT MOUNTING HOLE
Cut Mounting hole as outlined in the above step.
4 ATTACH MOUNT
Place TBOLT MULTI-SERVO HARNESS MOUNT in mounting hole. Drill the two mounting holes (use a 1/16" drill bit). Install screws through the Mount, mounting material, and the Backplate(If you decide to use the backplate).
5 INSTALL WIRE HARNESS
Feed the TBOLT Multi-Servo Harness Wires through Mount. Make sure the TBOLT Multi-Servo Harness Connector locking clasp faces up in alignment with Mount grove.
6 INSERT CONNECTOR
Align the TBOLT Multi-Servo Harness Connector with the Mount insert slot. Apply equal pressure to both sides of the TBOLT connector to insert into the Mount. There is a tight friction fit between the TBOLT Connector and the Mount. If you want a permanent installation, you can add a dab of adhesive (we recommend a quality epoxy, like Hysol) between the TBOLT Connector and the Mount. You can also use a non-permanent adhesive like Automotive GOOP. Make sure adhesive doesn't get inside the TBOLT Connector housing.
1 RIGHT ANGLE MOUNTING OPTIONS
TBOLT MULTI-SERVO HARNESS MOUNTS are available in two sizes: Standard Size (which have a height of 1.1" (28mm)) and Low Profile Size (which have a height of 0.68" (17mm)).
2 RIGHT ANGLE MOUNT INSTALLATION
Select a location within your aircraft fuselage that has a enough clearance in front of the mount to attach and remove the TBOLT MULTI Servo Connector.
3 FASTEN THE MOUNT TO THE FUSELAGE
Use the included screws or an adhesive to fasten mount to fuse surface. If using adhesive (we reommend Hysol), roughen bottom Mount surface with sandpaper before applying adhesive.
4 INSTALL WIRE HARNESS
Feed the TBOLT Multi-Servo Harness Wires through Mount. Make sure the TBOLT Multi-Servo Harness Connector locking clasp faces up in alignment with Mount grove.
